I also enjoyed the Jenny Nimmo series, and think you will like it - I've been thinking that I might re-read it soon.Jodie Robsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02442935205880334932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3958492963483272678.post-30169380345990060402010-04-28T13:37:22.780+01:002010-04-28T13:37:22.780+01:00Shelley: LOL! And then you have to give in and read or reread the books just shut your own head up. ;-)

Nymeth: It's so funny how everyone I speak to about this series has different favourites. Once I've finished the whole series I'll be able to judge the thing as a whole and it'll be interesting to see which I like best.Cathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06371069000185280668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3958492963483272678.post-62465429040915281192010-04-28T08:29:07.609+01:002010-04-28T08:29:07.609+01:00I liked this better than the first book, but not q...I liked this better than the first book, but not quite as much as the second (which remains my favourite). The Grey King is absolutely fantastic! Book two is not, but is also very good. Book three is again set in Cornwall but I'm assuming the final two are not. Altogether though it's a good series of children's books that can easily be enjoyed by adults. Book one was very nostalgic for me.

Val: I'll certainly report back on the Jenny Nimmo trilogy. She's most famous for Charlie Bean I think, a series that my grandaughter enjoys.Cathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06371069000185280668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3958492963483272678.post-87585411199138373842010-04-27T15:34:29.910+01:002010-04-27T15:34:29.910+01:00Very useful review Cath and I'd love to hear w...Very useful review Cath and I'd love to hear what you think of the Jenny Nimmo's too
Thanks :0)Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03003915263556622215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3958492963483272678.post-78626724256829086692010-04-27T15:06:25.103+01:002010-04-27T15:06:25.103+01:00Ooh, one set in Cornwall!
