The view from the car park! This is Caldy Island. As will be seen the weather was grey and showery - I like it like that but it doesn't make for bright, summery type photos, so be warned.

Where we had lunch. It turned out to be a bit posher and more expensive than we expected but as it was Hubby's birthday that day, it didn't matter - I treated him.

verity: me too... I'm so nosy. Tenby was a real surprise. I'd heard it was nice but was surprised to find it as interesting and unspoilt. Mind, in the school hols would probably be packed.
I've never been to Tenby. It looks beautiful and must have better weather than when you were there going off the palm trees.
It's also good to see photos of you and your husband - I see he pulls faces like mine does when I try to take his photo.
Margaret: It must be a lovely spot to holiday when the weather is nice, lovely for children I would think. But even on a chilly day it was a lovely place. We certainly plan to go back.
Oh yes... I have 'one of those' husbands who always pulls a silly face when I point a camera at him.

Hi Cath - lovely photos despite the dark day. I love the ones in the streets, and of the town itself - very colourful. Some of my ancestors are from Wales, so any time I can get a glimpse of my ancestral land I'm happy! I'm glad you and hubby got away, after your long and difficult spring.
PS I love the castle wall pictures. Looks like I should plan on visiting this town one day, too! lol
Susan: Tenby was lovely and yes, you should try to visit one day. That whole South Wales coast is wonderful. We're off to Cardiff on Monday so there will be more Welsh pics to come soon.
Tenby looks a nice place to relax, there is something about the attraction of sheltered harbours where the boats nestle away out of the power of the sea...you know you should be clutching icecream cones in those photos to complete the Holiday snap effect ...lol
Val: I know what you mean about harbours. I love them personally, always so much to see. Yes, shame on me for not eating ice-cream... a sad thing for someone who likes it as much as I do. LOL.

Tenby is so appealing. The mural was amazing. (Speaking of Mr. T. I recently saw a not-so-pleasant piece on him - a tv talk show in which he seemed very unlike the man we know from gardening shows.) As I looked through your pictures, I found myself dreaming about what my life would be like if I lived there. It reminded me a bit of the Doc Martin town, Port Isaac.

I haven't watched AT's chat show - I think it's daytime TV and I don't tend to have time to watch much of that really. I'm now curious as to what you saw as I've always imagined him to be a very genial sort of person.
The coast of South Wales is not unlike that of Devon and Cornwall so I can see why you can see similarities. And it's probably why I love it so much in Wales. More photos to come as I'm just back from a second trip there.
