Scene of the blog

I was absolutely delighted when Cathy from Kitling: Books asked me take part in her weekly feature, Scene of the Blog. I wondered a bit what I could possibly find of interest to say and photograph but once I started it was huge fun.

The post is now up so I hope you'll visit Kitling: Books and take a look at where I blog. Many thanks to Cathy for her hard work on this regular feature.

Hey, Pat. The pics were taken a few weeks ago but the garden looks just the same now as it's been too cold for anything much to grow. Had a lot of fun doing it.

Lovely to see where you blog from and the view as well!

Glad to know I am not the only list keeper!

A lovely sharing idea for blogs.

Happy Birthday! The John Brett book does look like a treasure. Enjoyed your spaces over at Cathy's blog.

Kay: I was a bit daunted at first, not knowing quite how to handle it, but once I got started it was fine. I just love Cathy's weekly features.

Elizabeth: Thank you. I do love my study, it's not huge but it's all mine.

Jo: Oh yes... love my lists. :-)

Peggy Ann: Thanks for visiting my blog and for your birthday wishes.

The John Brett book is a stunner quiet frankly. My mission now is to try and actually see some of these paintings for myself. I saw a couple in Cardiff but there are many many more.

Oh boy, did I love that! Your computer screen is HUGE. We just barely got a new iMac to replace our five-year old one. It is much bigger than the one we had, and I want to be here all the time!
Loved your garden, and as I said over there, it is the epitome of an English garden to me.
I would like to see more of your books here sometime!

Hi Cath,

What a great idea of Cathy's.
It was good to see where you communicate with the rest of 'blogland' from.
It certainly helps when you can associate personal possessions with a name, as it makes your personality come alive somehow. (hope that makes sense, I am sure you know what I mean!).

Nan: Yes, it is a big screen but to be honest, I prefer my old square one. It didn't elongate things like this one does. Oh well.

I think I've already posted pics of my shelves of books here in my study but I'll do more at some stage.

Yvonne: I do know what you mean... I've found it be so when looking at other people's Scene of the Blog posts.
